Some info about the job and what we do.
We are the third lodge of the company Explore The North, we openend last summer and are situated in Tärendö, just next to the Tärendö River, which makes the view from the kitchen and the restaurant unreal.
The difference of this lodge and other lodges is the gastronomic part, we aim for a little ´more´ for the guests. With all the same activities the other lodges have, huskysled, snowmobile, icefishing, icebuggy, snowshoe, cross country skiing,...
But we have a wine cellar, 3-course dinner every night with the options of taking an additional 4th and 5th course. Pairing wines,... but all of this in a very loose and familiar setting, where people should feel at home.
About the work,
We aim for quite a high standard, we want people to go home with the feeling they won´t come across a place like this ever again.
We want to give them the full package of great customer service, good food, nice drinks, awesome activities and all of this in a beautiful environment.
We are looking for people with the ability of giving this to guests, people with experience in their job and actually like what they do. Our job is to please guests and still have fun during work, by working together as a team.
Work time is 40 hours a week. Schedule is planned weekly.
44 sek is withdrawn from your salary per working day for food at work, this is according to the Swedish law.
You can join all day tours for free as long as there is space, just book through the reception.
Staff accommodation costs around 1000 sek per month. We have shared double rooms. Shared kitchens and shared bathrooms. Wifi, electricity, water, gas, all included.

Requirements: English (understanding and speaking, it´s the language we communicate with), experience in the job, flexibele, team player and you need to have a valid work permit for Sweden and experience in the European/Scandinavian kitchen.
